<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the engagement delay of a preset clutch at re-starting an engine by quickly raising the fluid pressure in the preset clutch of a transmission at starting an engine, and delaying the engagement of clutches other than the preset clutch at quick pressure raising control for re-starting the engine. SOLUTION: An automatic start and stop control device 23 for an engine including a delay means is equipped with a control means for quickly raising the hydraulic pressure for a forward-travel clutch, an automatic stoppage judgement means 101 for an engine according to a control program stored in ROM and a fuel cut instruction means 102 when an automatic stoppage condition is identified as established. Also, the device is provided with a reset instruction means for re-stating a fuel supply when an automatic reset judgement means 103 for making judgement on conditions for re-starting identifies the re-start of the engine, and a delay means 110 for delaying the engagement of a clutch laid in parallel with a one-way clutch of a transmission at the time of quick pressure raising control for re-starting the engine.</p> |
