<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of correcting the ball-hitting direction and increasing the ball flying distance. SOLUTION: A hollow wood is provided with a hollow head body 2 having a hosel 14 and a face part (ball-hitting surface) 4 furnished to the head body 2. The face part 4 is provided with a thin-thickness part 6 formed in the center Pc of the face part 4, and a thick-thickness part 8 formed in the circumferential periphery of the thin-thickness part 6 and formed thicker than the thin-thickness part 6. The sweet spot S is formed in the thick-thickness part 8 dislocated from the center of the face part to a heel side D2. The thin-thickness part 6 is formed in a region wider than the circular region of radius 5 mm from the center of the face part 4, and the thickness thereof is set to be 1 mm or more and 2.6 mm or less, preferably 2 mm or more and 2.5 mm or less.</p> |
