PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transfer product in which image fixing properties on a final image carrier improve, and the selective latitude of the final image carrier can be enlarged and which is free from the image expansion of the transfer product and the blanking of an image and is excellent in reproducibility. SOLUTION: In a thermal transfer recording method for thermal-transferring an image formed on an intermediate transfer medium 4 for thermal transfer to a final image carrier 14, a transfer apparatus whose hot roll 11 material has Vickers hardness of 10-100 degree and a thickness of 1-10 mm is used, and the transfer medium 4 in which the surface roughness (Rz) of an image receiving surface is 1-30 μm is made to face the carrier 14, and a transferred image is formed. |
