PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance saving of energy by reducing an oil amount to be used in mold opening and closing operation. SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with a replenishing means for replenishing a head chamber 4 with hydraulic oil discharged from a rod chamber 6 and this replenishing means does not replenish the head chamber 4 with the hydraulic oil discharged from the rod chamber 6 before a predetermined time is elapsed from the start of mold closing operation but replenishes the head chamber 4 with the hydraulic oil discharged from the rod chamber 6 after the elapse of a predetermined time.
