PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a lubricating oil supply device and also improve the reliability by reducing the fear of causing trouble by providing only one oil level detection means such as a float switch and controlling the supply of a lubricating oil by this lubricating oil supply device. SOLUTION: A float switch 34 for detecting the oil level of an oil pan 10 and a timer 45 for measuring a time are provided. When the oil level in the oil pan 10 is lowered and reaches a set oil level, the float switch 34 issues a detection signal and the timer 45 starts a time measurement and when the measured time reaches the set time, a lubricating oil supply device starts its operation and also when the oil level in the oil pan 10 is raised and reached the set oil level again, the float switch 34 issues the detection signal so that the lubricating oil supply device is stopped.
