PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance controllability and to utilize space around a driver's seat in a cab rationally and widely by setting the position of an operating pedal at a front where it can be operated by the driver, and enabling the pedal to be operated simply when the driver moves the tip of his toe horizontally. SOLUTION: The tread member 11 of an operating pedal 10 is rectangular and has a flat portion at its center, and inclined face parts that get higher toward both sides form the flat portion are formed thereon. A support piece that projects downward at the center of the lower surface of the tread member 11 has its middle portion pivotally supported by a pivot against a bracket attached to a floor face, and the lower part of the support piece is connected to the control valve 25 of an actuator by a rod, so that the operating pedal 10 is operated with the heel of the driver in contact with the floor and with the toe put on the tread member 11 and moved laterally.
