PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a synthetic resin molding having a more excellent photocatalysis by increasing the area of contact of photocatalyst particles with the external organic substances by subjecting a synthetic resin article to an operation of exposing the photocatalyst particles to the surface of the article. SOLUTION: There is provided a process for producing a synthetic resin molding having photocatalysis, which comprises the step of: producing a synthetic resin molding 3 containing photocatalyst 2 particles on at least the near the surface, and exposing at least part of the surfaces of the photocatalyst particles to the surface of the article by irradiating the surface of the article with light having a wavelength activating the photocatalyst to decompose the synthetic resin which covers the tops of the photocatalyst particles near the surface of the article.
