Pneumatically driven motor or compressor comprising a rotor (6) rotatably supported in a housing (1) provided with intakes (3) and outlets (4), said rotor (6) engaging the inner wall (2) of the housing (1) in at least one location (A). The rotor (6) is provided with at least one element (7) that can protrude outwardly from the circumferential plane (14) of the rotor (6), in order to abut against the inner wall (2) of the housing (1). The housing (1) contains a double-walled member (11) in the form of a tube of a flexible, resilient material and has its outer wall (12) fixedly connected to the inner wall (2) of the housing (1) and that the pressurized air presses the inner wall (13) against the rotor (6) and against at least one of the elements (7) coupled to it. The transverse walls (15) of the tube (11) can take up a substantially V-shaped position turned inwards. |
