Fibre band cable centring and fixing device

The device includes at least two pairs of partially through holes (19) which are so arranged that the hole centre line is closely connected to a track (17) edge. The holes in the pairs are separated and centred around the track centre line (22). The holes partly issue out into the track and a resistance (21) is formed by residual material at the track edge. A ball (18) is arranged in each hole (19), and the balls are activated by an underlying spring to locate the balls on the resistance. One pair of balls with an underlying spring forms a centering mechanism and at least one centering mechanism is arranged at the respective end of the track. A fibre band cable is centred laterally by the balls, which are activated by the underlying springs when the heel formation on the cover is lowered and the cable is fixed.
