PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carbon nanometer particle structure including silicon carbide nanometer particles which can be used for various purposes as a structural or functional material by forming such a structure that silicon carbide particles in a nanometer order are coated with carbon layers. SOLUTION: This carbon nanometer particle structure including silicon carbide nanometer particles has such a structure that a single crystal or polycrystal silicon carbide particle having <=35nm diameter is coated with 1 to 20 carbon layers and that the obtd. particle has <=50nm diameter. As for a structural material, it may be used to constitute a powder, film, plate or various blocks such as three-dimensional shape. |
