PURPOSE:To attain a highly accurate position detection and to facilitate a data processing by executing the position detection of two points on a diagonal line with the use of the position information of the three angle parts of a subject to be detected, obtaining a center point between the two points, detecting the center position of the said subject. CONSTITUTION:The angle part 11 of an electronic part 1 is come into view U1 of an image recognition device and the end positions A1 and B1 of the leads of a second from the angle are detected. Similarly, the end positions C1 and D1 of the leads 16 and 17 of angle parts 12 and 13 and the end positions E1 and F1 of leads 18 and 19 are detected. Next, a perpendicular is established from the B1 to a segment connecting the positions C1 and F1 and its intersection P1 is obtained. The perpendicular is established from the position E1 to the segment connecting the positions C1 and F1 and its intersection Q1 is obtained. When the coordinate of a center point O1 between the intersections P1 and Q1 is obtained, the center point O1 turns to be the center position of the electronic part 1. |
