PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gusset packaging bag which has a wide opening and is excellently containable and protectable and also to provide a zipper-furnished gusset packaging bag which has a wide opening and is easily furnished with a zipper and convenient for opening. SOLUTION: Side faces on both sides of a pair of opposite flat parts 52a and 52b constituting the front and the rear of a bag are bent toward the inside and thereby V-shaped gussets are formed. Then, with each of the gussets turned up at a point at this side of the projected edge of the gusset so that the projected edge comes out toward the outside, a W-shaped gusset 51 is formed and thereby an opening 54 can be enlarged. Furthermore, adhesion is applied to one end of the barrel-shaped bag main body and a zipper is provided at the inside at a position close to the side which becomes an opening at the other end of the bag.
