PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation of coupling a column-like member extending downward from a body frame member side with a floor. SOLUTION: The body structure comprises the following: cross member 8 which is detachably joined to right and left front pillars 6 which serve as right and left frame members of a body; a center reinforcement 3 which is a column-like member coupled with the cross member 8 and extended downward; and a floor bracket 1 having an inclined plate portion 15 and a protruding portion, which is fixed onto the surface of a floor 2 at the front portion of a vehicle cabin of the body, and which is means for guiding a coupling portion J coupled with the center reinforcement 3, guiding the center reinforcement 3 to this coupling portion J, and pressing down a floor mat laid on the floor surface.
