PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent limitation of brake control operation by a driver with a large freedom degree of independent electronic control, and decrease the number of part items, so that work man hours can be reduced. SOLUTION: In a brake device for a motorcycle having a front/rear wheel brake 11, 12 operated by a hydraulic pressure respectively in a front/rear wheel, first/second brake operating means 5, 15/7, 17 applying a hydraulic pressure to act by operation are provided, a first hydraulic pressure system 16 extended from the first brake operating means 5, 15 is connected to the front wheel brake 11, a second hydraulic pressure system 18 extended from the second brake operating means 7, 17 is connected to the rear wheel brake 12, an electronic control means inputs each detection value of a first operating amount detection means 31 detecting an operating amount of the first brake operating means 5, 15 and a second operating amount detection means 32 detecting an operating amount of the second brake operating means 2, 17 arithmetically processed, a control signal is respectively output to first/second hydraulic pressure control actuators 21, 23 based on an arithmetic result, the front wheel brake 11 is operated by the first hydraulic pressure control actuator 21, and the rear wheel brake 12 is operated by the second hydraulic pressure control actuator 23.
