PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely perform automatic avoidance and soft washing without damaging a projection, and to prevent the occurrence of the unnecessary un washed part by controlling so as to impart either of car washing accompanying avoidance operation or car washing of not accompanying the avoidance opera tion when detecting a car washing obstacle. SOLUTION: The projection inspecting part 11a estimates a projection to output the position. The projection judging part 11c estimates a kind of detected projection to judge whether or not the projection is high in risk of damage by brushing. The car washing control part 11g controls so that an upper surface brush and an upper surface blower nozzle act by keeping an almost constant distance from a car body, and so as to conform a travel position of a main body with a lifting position of a brush nozzle. The car washing control part 11g controls so as to impart projection avoidance operation to the upper surface brush and the upper surface blower nozzle on the basis of data on a position of the projection imparted by the projection judging part 11c and avoidance designating data inputted by an operation panel.
