PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester that can easily cut cereal crop stems growing near levees. SOLUTION: A running gear are arranged under the lower part of a tractor body, while a harvesting unit is arranged to the front top of a reaping part. Further, a threshing unit is arranged in the rear of the reaping part and cereal crop stems are cut by the reaping part while a combine harvester runs in the crop field, and the cut cereal crop stems are threshed in a threshing unit. The objective combine harvester is equipped with a levee detection sensor 50 detecting that a levee 57 comes near the tractor and with a warning sign generating means 59 that gives warning, when the tractor body comes near the levee 57.
