摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the control accuracy of a fuel injection quantity control, at the special running time when the fuel supply by a high pressure fuel pump is switched to the fuel supply by a low pressure fuel pump. SOLUTION: The fuel in a fuel tank 80 is supplied from a feed pump 78 to a high pressure pump 74 through a low pressure fuel piping 76. A pressure regulator 82 provided on the way of the low pressure fuel piping 76 regulates the fuel pressure supplied to a high pressure pump 74 to a prescribed feed pressure. The high pressure pump 74 pressurizes the fuel to a high pressure and the high pressure fuel is supplied to a delivery pipe 70 connected with an injector 26 through the high pressure fuel piping 72. At the special running time when the fuel supply by the high pressure pump 74 is switched to the fuel supply by the feed pump 78, the electronic control device 40 of an engine 10 calculates a fuel injection time from a fuel injection quantity based on the conversion formula different from an usual running time.
