Electronic starter circuit for fluorescent lamp incorporating integrated sensor for ambient light levels

The combined circuit is installed in a normal starter circuit housing. It incorporates a sensor for ambient light which operates the starter switch when the ambient light levels drop below a predetermined level. The starter also operates when the supply voltage is restored after a power cut.
