PURPOSE: A measuring apparatus of a length and a center hole of a shaft is provided to replace a tool timely by checking lifespan of the tool when measuring processed goods. CONSTITUTION: A shaft article measuring device comprises a housing(30) integrated with a base plate(20) moving rectilinearly on a table(10); a shaft(60) combined through the center of the housing; a dog(70) fixed in an end of the shaft; a sensor combined with a side of the table to detect the dog; a pusher(90) combined with the end of the shaft; a measuring tip(100) combined through the center of the pusher; a pin(110) combined with the center of the measuring tip; a spring(130) combined through the housing and the shaft to apply the resilience to the shaft; and a signal gauge(340) combined with the shaft. The measuring device is symmetrically formed and measures the length and the depth of a center hole according to displacement of the shaft by contacting the both pins to the center hole of the shaft, and detects the lifespan of a center drill and a face cutter and replacement time.
