SEARCHING METHOD OF SATELLITE SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A method for searching a satellite signal is provided to enable an installer to easily recognize the direction of a satellite by displaying the intensity of a peripheral frequency band including a discharge signal of the satellite. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sub search frequency are set in the center of a main search frequency in order to search a satellite. The search frequency(that is, one main search frequency and four sub search frequency) is received in order. An automatic gain control voltage is detected. A tuner unit tunes the search frequency in order. The tuner detects an automatic gain control voltage outputted from a QPSK demodulation unit in case that the search frequency is received.
