PURPOSE: An alternator is provided to generate AC current by the rotation of a crank shaft as well as reduce noise due to the operation of the alternator by mounting coil windings and magnets on a balance weight of the crank shaft and an inner wall of a crank room. CONSTITUTION: A piston(1) coupled to a crank shaft(6) is mounted within a cylinder block(2), and the crank shaft(6) having a balance weight(7) on its end is connected to the linear reciprocating piston(1) to be rotated within the crank room(5). A stator(4) for generating AC current is coupled to an inner wall of the crank room and a plurality of magnets(8) are formed on the balance weight(7) so that different polars of the magnets are opposite to each other.
