PURPOSE: A ventilation system is provided to allow installation and transportation of the system to be easily performed by arranging the ventilation system as an assembly type using a cross flow fan. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation system comprises a ventilating body shaped as a rectangle and which has a leg house(10a) formed at each of four corners of the ventilating body, a ventilating opening(10b) for air inlet/outlet and a guide rail(10c) formed at both sides of the ventilating opening; a leg to be coupled to the leg house of the ventilating body; a motor(30) disposed in vertical direction within the ventilating body; a cross flow fan(40) interlocked to the motor; first and second fan shutters which slide in vertical direction along the guide rail in front and rear of the ventilating body so as to prevent the cross flow fan from being outwardly exposed; a connection rod(70) for connecting first and second fan shutters in such a manner that both shutters slide simultaneously; a storage box mounted at the lower end of the ventilating body; and an external air shield stored in the storage box and which slides in vertical direction so as to shield the external air entering through the leg portion.
