The process uses a first laminar element 2 in the manner of a support or base on which there is a second laminar element 1 connected to the first one by means of some type of adhesive 3, and it is characterized by the second laminar element 1 being cut using a laser such that the first laminar element 2, or support sheet, is not cut. Signs, marks, anagrams, letters or numbers can be obtained which can be transferred easily onto any surface which it is desired to label, embellish or mark. In addition, by cutting using laser, the cutting line is finer and more precise, and therefore the results obtained are of higher quality in comparison with conventional cutting processes. <IMAGE>
