METHOD FOR CHECKING TELEPHONE LINE CONNECTION STATE

PURPOSE: A method for checking a state of a line connection is provided to reduce unnecessary expenses due to requests for after-sales service by notifying a user that a line connection isn't performed in case of a manual dial. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a manual dial key for a manual dial(400). A CPU connects line terminals with a facsimile body(402). The CPU reads and sets a feeding time stored in a memory unit(404). The CPU checks whether a line feeding sensing signal of a line feeding unit is activated as 'low' before the feeding time passes(406-408). The CPU reads and sets a stable time from the memory unit(412). The CPU checks whether the state of the line feeding is maintained(414-418). In case that the line feeding sensing signal is activated as 'high', the CPU senses as the line connection isn't performed and displays a warning message(420).
