PURPOSE: An anti-abrasive composite material added with silicon and carbon fiber as reinforcing material is provided to increase abrasion resistance and reduce the coefficient of friction. CONSTITUTION: The anti-abrasive composite material is manufactured by preparing an emulsion by mixing silicon particle, carbon fiber, organic/inorganic binder, coagulant, and water; preparing a preform by dehydrating, filtering, and demolding in a mould; drying the preform; calcining the dried preform at 800deg.C for 2hrs; infiltrating the preform in molten Al bath at a high pressure of 100MPa.
