A rotary toothed door catch 1 on a pin 2 is locked by a spring urged pawl 3 pivoting on a pin 4 and is unlocked by pressing inwardly an arm 5 pivoting on pin 2. The pawl 3 is also released by a handle operated pivoted lever 13 which engages and arm 12 on the pawl. The arm 5 and leyer 13 may be blocked by a pivoted lever connected to a plate 15 freely slidable longitudinally and raised, to free the arm and lever 13, by a knob. A key operated crank 22 secured to the lower end of the plate 15 controls the plate over-riding the arm 5 and lever 13. Closing the door moves the plate 15 and the attached lever upwardly to free the arm 5 and lever 13. |
