HIGH SPEED ORTHOGONAL WAVELET TRANSFORMATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A high-speed orthogonal wavelet transform method is provided to minimize the complexity of a calculation by adopting high-speed algorithm using not-losing matrix decomposition. CONSTITUTION: In case that M is a positive number, the M(M-1)+1 number of multiplication and the M(M-1) number of addition are needed to a single matrix calculation. The multiplication number needed to the single matrix calculation is not M2 but M(M-1)+1. Totally, The M2+M+1 number of multiplication and the M2+2M-1 number of addition are needed. Especially, in case of M=2n, the complexity of calculation is reduced using a single matrix having a high-speed algorithm.
