PURPOSE: A fuel gauge is provided to exactly seize a charging time of fuel by simplifying structures of a receiver portion and a center portion and by conforming an actual remaining amount of fuel inside a fuel tank and a discriminated remaining amount of the fuel gauge. CONSTITUTION: A weight sensor(3) of a center portion is installed in the inner bottom of a fuel tank(1). The weight sensor(3) is fed to an input terminal of an ECU(Electronic Control Unit). A fuel gauge(5) is connected with an output terminal of the ECU. The weight sensor(3) contains a piezoelectric element(7) to differently generate a size of voltage according to weight of fuel inside the fuel tank(1). The piezoelectric element(7) is isolated from the fuel through a housing(9). Nitrogen gas is filled between the housing(9) and the piezoelectric element(7) to transmit hydraulic pressure of the housing(9) to the piezoelectric element(7). The housing(9) is formed by a rubber to give uniform pressure to the piezoelectric element(7) by the nitrogen gas.
