PURPOSE: A CDP(Compact Disc Player) of a desk audio is provided to fix a tray, and to mount a cover driving unit capable of opening/closing a cover inside an internal of an audio case. CONSTITUTION: A guide groove(48) is formed lengthwise. A base frame(10) has a vertical groove(49) orthogonal with the guide groove(48). A tray(14) fixed in the frame(10) loads a CD(Compact Disc). A CD rotation unit(18) rotates the CD. A pickup unit(16) reads information of the CD. A cover(12) is vertically moved to an internal of an audio case when the tray is opened. The cover(12) is capable of being lifted/lowered according to the movement of a pair of moving members(20,21) movably combined along the guide groove(48). The moving members(20,21) have moving racks(22) and conveyance racks(24). The moving racks(22) accepts rotation power of a driving motor(30). The conveyance racks(24) is toothed with idle gears(44) in order to convey the rotation power from the moving racks(22) to another moving member.
