PAGER AUTOMATIC CALLING METHOD FOR DATA RECEIVING IN FAX

PURPOSE: A method for automatically calling a pager in case of receiving a manuscript from a facsimile is provided to enable a user to recognize that a manuscript is received to a facsimile during the user's absence by calling a pager registered in case that the manuscript is received to the facsimile. CONSTITUTION: A control unit is on standby(40). The control unit checks whether a facsimile connection request signal is received(42). The unit connects a speech path(44). The unit performs a transmission/receipt of facsimile data(46). The unit receives manuscript data, and prints the data(48). The unit checks whether a receipt of the manuscript data is terminated(50). In case that the receipt is terminated, the speech path is cut off(52). It is checked whether an automatic call bit is set(54). The unit compares an automatic call starting time registered with an automatic call cancellation time(56). The unit compares a present time with a starting time(58). The unit compares the present time with a cancellation time(60). The unit compares the present time with the starting time(62). The unit compares the present time with the cancellation time(64).
