PURPOSE: A cooling air blower apparatus is provided to prevent foodstuff stored in the refrigerator from being super-cooled and to maintain freshness of foodstuff, by concentrically supplying cooling air to the new load. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a plurality of temperature sensors(50) attached to the wall of the refrigerating compartment positioned adjacent to a shelf, which sense the temperature of the refrigerating compartment in accordance with whether the foodstuff is placed onto the shelf; a plurality of control units(52,54) for controlling signals based on outputs from temperature sensors; and a cooling air blower unit connected to each of control units which concentrically supplies cooling air to the new load. The cooling air blower unit includes a driving motor(62) fixed to the rear wall of the refrigerating compartment which is positioned adjacent to a damper(26), a rotating member(64) forcibly coupled with a rotation shaft(62a) of the driving motor which has a cam slot(64a) formed along the outer periphery of the rotation member, and a blower blade(66) having an end inserted into the cam slot of the rotating member which executes a pendulum motion in a vertical plane.
