PURPOSE: A thermometer temperature compensating circuit is provided to perform a temperature detecting circuit conveniently by an amplifier, and to measure the temperature precisely regardless of surrounding conditions. CONSTITUTION: A temperature compensating circuit comprises an infrared detecting element(110) outputting voltage corresponding to the measured temperature by infrared rays; a temperature compensating circuit unit(120) having a temperature compensating element(100) changing resistance value according to the change of surrounding temperature, and outputting in accordance with the change of resistance value of the temperature compensating element; and an amplifying unit(130) inputting and amplifying the voltage from the infrared detecting circuit, detecting the output change of the temperature compensating circuit unit, and compensating the output of the infrared detecting element according to the change of surrounding temperature. The resistance value of the temperature compensating element is lowered, and the output voltage of the temperature compensating circuit unit is increased as the surrounding temperature increases. The amplifying unit outputs the voltage precisely according to the measured temperature regardless of the surrounding temperature.
