PURPOSE: A rear glass fragment collecting device for a vehicle is provided to protect occupants from fragments of broken glass by installing a high elastic fiber net. CONSTITUTION: A high elastic fiber net(10) is installed inside a roof panel(100) and moved widthwise with elastic support to place the edge in the upper portion of a rear glass(110). The high elastic fiber net is pulled downward in parallel with the rear glass, with an operating device(20). The operating device is controlled by an ECU(electronic control unit)(24) with the input signal of a shock sensor(23). Thus, in case of a rear-end collision, the shock sensor transmits a signal to the ECU and the ECU transmits a high speed rotating signal to an actuator(25). Then, an internal gear(21) is rotated with the actuator in high speed. An external gear(22) is rapidly moved downward due to the rotation of the internal gear and the high elastic fiber net is moved downward with the rear glass since fixed to the protruded portion of the external gear.
