Installation for obtaining liquid manure intended for treating the ground, originating from livestock farms. Part of the premises of a livestock farm having a tank in which the liquid manure is collected in which a rigid or flexible pipe is installed for absorbing the liquid manure, transporting it to pools, where it is distributed in layers 9 alternating with layers of clay 10 and so on until they are filled. After fermentation the pools are emptied, mixing the contents thereof, and the mixture is kept in heaps for the aeration and use thereof. <IMAGE>
