PURPOSE: A sealing structure in a flat display device is provided to be capable of automatically sealing a panel without a separate operating device and a panel of an overhang structure. CONSTITUTION: In a structure of exhausting and sealing a panel through an exhaust hole formed at the panel, a sealing hole(1) is joined on the exhaust hole. The sealing hole is configured to surround a light hardening adhesion material(2) of a heat resistant property with a coating layer(3) of a thermal melting property. The panel is inserted in a pressure room and is exhausted up to the atmosphere of the pressure room. The light hardening adhesion material is filled in the exhaust hole by heating the sealing hole so as for the coating layer to be melt.
