PURPOSE: A sealing structure is provided to be capable of sealing a panel having an exhaust hole formed at a back substrate such as a panel of an overhand structure. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust hole(H) is formed at a rear substrate(R) of a panel(P), and a plug(10) is joined on the exhaust hole(H) by a glass adhesive. A protrusion or pull-in part is formed at a lower part of a main body(11) of the plug(10) in a radius direction. A relatively short leg(12) as the protrusion part is arranged around the main body(11) in a radial direction. If the plug(10) is joined on the rear substrate(R) around the exhaust hole(H), an exhaust hole(H) is formed between the legs(12) so as to connect the exhaust hole(H) to an external atmosphere.
