DEVICE FOR DETECTING BAD MEMORY MODULE

PURPOSE: A bad device detector of memory module is provided to easily detect a bad device of a memory device without damaging a printed circuit board(PCB) and a memory module by comparing data on input/output drivers of respective slot on each memory module inserted in two slots, which are mounted on the printed circuit board(PCB), if the data is different to each other, when the memory module is tested. CONSTITUTION: A first and second slot is provided on a printed circuit board(PCB) to insert each of two memory modules, respectively. The memory modules compare with values between an input/output driver of the first slot(32) and an input/output driver of the second slot(42). The first and second slot is connected to a sensing resistance of 50-150 ohm. A logic circuit receives data from the input/output driver of the first and second slot(32,42), if the value is different to each other, and outputs a 'high' value. A register temporally stores the output value of the logic circuit. A comparing detection unit(60) is comprised of a light emitting diode which radiates a light according to the output value of the register.
