APPARATUS FOR CYCLING OF COOLING AIR IN A REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A cooling air circulation apparatus for refrigerator is provided, in which the air inlet hole is arranged to be directed downward, to thereby prevent the air inlet port from being clogged by the frost and allow the cooling air to smoothly circulate. CONSTITUTION: A cooling air circulation apparatus comprises an evaporator(200) arranged at the rear of a freezing compartment(100) and which evaporates low temperature low pressure liquid refrigerant so as to absorb heat from the ambient hot air; a cooling fan(400) coupled above the evaporator and which forcibly circulates the cooling air produced from the evaporator toward the freezing compartment and refrigerating compartment; and a louver(500) which sections the freezing compartment and the evaporator. The louver has a back flow prevention member(522) arranged at a cooling air flow channel(521) between a protrusion(530) and a rear surface(502) of the louver. The back flow prevention member serves to prevent the heat produced from the defrost heater from flowing back to the freezing compartment through a cooling air inlet port during defrost operation.
