PURPOSE: A fruit transporting apparatus for a fruit selecting apparatus is provided to achieve correct classification of fruits by allowing the fruits to be supplied one by one to a classifying device. CONSTITUTION: A fruit transporting apparatus(10) for sequentially transporting fruits to a fruit classifying apparatus has a transporting unit and a restricting unit(25). The transporting unit(2) transports the externally supplied fruits. The transporting unit includes a pair of conveyer chains(12), a number of transporting rollers(11) spaced from the conveyer chain(12) and having a recessed central portion for loading the fruits, and a driving motor for driving the conveyer chains(12) to transport the transporting rollers(11). The restricting unit(25) is installed over the transporting unit and restricts the passing range of the fruits to make the fruits pass one by one. The restricting unit(25) includes a height restricting arm(23) for restricting the height of the fruits and a width restricting arm(22) for restricting the width of the fruits.
