PURPOSE: An apparatus for writing/reading a DRAM in a double speed mode of a digital video disk player is provided to prevent a memory jump caused in the double speed mode, so as to remove a still image. CONSTITUTION: A micro computer interface(20) interfaces a DRAM write/read apparatus with a micro computer(10). A DRAM(70) writes and reads data of a disk. A write address generator(30) inputs a clock signal and a sync signal of the data to generate a write address signal and a write signal, and outputs the generated signals. A read address generator(40) generates a read address signal and a write signal and outputs the generated signals. An address generator(50) multiplexes the write address signal and the read address signal, and outputs the final address signal. A limited value decider(80) inputs write/read limited values from the micro computer(10), and compares the inputted two signals to output a result. A memory controller(60) controls a writing and a reading of the DRAM(70). An ACK generator(90) inputs a read request signal to output an ACK(Acknowledge) signal. A delayer(130) outputs a delay signal delayed by receiving the ACK signal. A multiplexer(120) multiplexes the ACK signal and the delay signal, and outputs the multiplexed signals. An A/V interface(100) receives data read from the DRAM(70), and outputs the data. An A/V decoder(110) generates the read request signal to output the signal to the ACK generator(90), and receives the read data from the DRAM(70) to decode the data.
