PURPOSE: A reset apparatus of a computer is provided to safely protect data by automatically storing data under work in case that a computer is reset, thereby resetting the computer. CONSTITUTION: A reset select unit(20) selects a reset of a computer. A reset signal generating unit(22) respectively outputs an interrupt signal for storing data under work and a reset signal for resetting a hard disc controller. An interrupt processing unit(24) receives the interrupt signal from the reset signal generating unit(22), and applies the reset signal to a central processing unit. A delay unit(26) receives the reset signal from the reset signal generating unit(22), and applies the signal to the hard disc controller.
