PURPOSE: An image pickup apparatus of a mounter is provided to improve productivity by minimizing a time consumed for a head table to adsorb components from a feeder part and seating them on a PCB. CONSTITUTION: A body(1) is provided with a predetermined operation control part and an image control part which is connected to the operation control part. An X-Y axis table is installed on an upper surface of the body(1). A mounter head part(40') is installed on one side surface of the X-axis frame(32') in the X-Y axis table(30') and is moved along the X-axis frame(32'). A variable mirror(44) and a fixed mirror are installed on a front surface and a rear surface of the head part(40'), respectively. A CCD camera is installed on a rear side surface of the X-axis frame(32') and moved along the X-axis frame(32'), separately from the head part(40'), to pick up a mirror image which is reflected through the mirrors(44) and transmit the same to the image control part.
