BSC REALTIME CALL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT METHOD

PURPOSE: A real-time call resource management method of a base station controller in call setup in a digital mobile communication system is provided to prevent call setup from being interrupted due to the failure of call resource allocation by making an exchange select a trunk having an available call resource and allocate a circuit identity code, based on information on a variation of the number of available call resources reported from a process. CONSTITUTION: A driving part initializes a database storing the physical available/unavailable information of call resources by a main process and the man machine communication information of call resources by a BSM operator(S1) and drives a state management process(S3). A call resource state detection process activated by the main process transmits a polling signal to all the call resource devices of a base station controller(S4). Call resource devices in normal condition send a response signal(S5). The call resource state detection process judges that call resources for the call resource devices having sent the response signal are in an available state, reads the physical available/unavailable information of the call resources stored in the database(S7) and updates the database if the resources are in an unavailable state(S9).
