DETECT AND RETRANSMISSION OF ERROR DATA IN CDMA MOBILE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for detecting and retransmitting error statistics data in a CDMA mobile communication system is provided to detect an inferior or lost data packet among system performance management statistics data transmitted to a BSM(Base Station Manager) from a BSC(Base Station Controller) in an application level and to retransmit the detected statistics data. CONSTITUTION: An SMM(Statistics and Measurement Manager) of a BSM initializes all the contents of a retransmission reference table as '0' before requesting a CRA(CCP Resource Allocator) of a BSC to transmit statistics data(S1). The SMM transmits the statistics data transmission request packet to the CRA(S2). If the statistics data are transmitted from the CRA(S3), the SMM sums the statistics data packet by bytes and stores it in a relevant variable(S4). The SMM confirms whether a received statistics data packet is a packet indicating the end of transmission(S5). If it is not the transmission end packet, the SMM compares a summation value of a checksum field comprised in the transmitted statistics data packet with the independently summed value(S6). If two summation values are identical, the SMM confirms a value of a serial number field comprised in the transmitted statistics data packet(S7) and takes the value as the index of the retransmission reference table, and sets the contents of the table as '1'(S8,S9). Then the SMM stores the transmitted statistics data packet in a database(S10). In case those two summation values are not identical, the SMM judges that an inferior data packet has been generated and discards the data(S11).
