摘要 PURPOSE: A reference voltage circuit of a low power on-chip is provided to stably and precisely generate the reference voltage regardless of manufacturing processes, chip size, temperature and variation of source voltage. CONSTITUTION: The circuit includes a current generator(M1 through M8) and a reference voltage generator(M9 through M12). The reference voltage generator includes transistors(M9, M10). The current generator(M1 through M8) precisely generates a reference current. Wilson current mirror(M3, M4 and M5) equalizes two current paths(I1,I2). In the current generator(M1 through M8), a sub-threshold current is acquired. The sub-threshold current does not vary by change of external source voltage. Also, the sub-threshold current is proportional to temperature. Here, bias current is increased according to the sub-threshold current within the reference voltage generator(M9 through M12). Thereby, temperature compensation can be performed.
