PURPOSE: A circuit and a method for adjusting a clamp level is provided to easily adjust a clamp level by inverting the clamp level in a signal including the clamp level in a specific part, or by changing the clamp level into an arbitrary clamp level. CONSTITUTION: An emitter follower is composed of R1, R2, RE1 and a transistor Q1. A base earthing amp(2) is composed of R3, R4, RE2, Rc and a transistor Q2. An emitter follower(3) is composed of a transistor Q3. A variable resistor(VR1) is connected between the emitter follower and the base earthing amp(2). A capacitor and a variable resistor(VR2) are connected in serial. An emitter terminal of the amp(2) is connected thereto.
