PURPOSE: A resonator of an intake system of a vehicle engine is provided to damp the intake noise of an engine in a plurality of chambers having different volumes according to an rpm of the engine, thereby effectively damping the intake noise. CONSTITUTION: A resonator of an intake system of a vehicle engine includes a plurality of chambers(3,5,7) defining an inside of a resonator(10) into parts of different volumes, an inner tube(9) rotatably penetrating a center part of the resonator and formed with through holes(11,13,15) formed in a vertical direction with an interval of 120° to communicate with the chambers respectively, a forward and reverse rotation motor(17) mounted at a lower part of the inner tube to be driven by an electronic control unit(21) receiving signals from an engine rpm sensor(19), wherein the chambers of different volumes are stacked at least three stairs and a sealing pad(25) is formed in a connection part which connects an air duct(23) to the inner tube.
