PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a roll-like photographic sensitive material housed in a light transmissive container to be viewed from the outside without being exposed in a state that the light transmissive container is housed in a case by forming the layer or the phase of a photochromic material having such property that light transmissivity is reduced under illumination by direct sunshine. SOLUTION: This case for a photographic film magazine 10 is constituted of a cylindrical case 11 opened at the top part thereof in which a photographic film magazine is housed and a cover body 12 arranged at the top part. Then, the layer or the phase of the photochromic material is formed at least the side surface of the case 11 so that the photographic film is not exposed under the illumination by the direct sunshine. When the layer of the photochromic material is formed, it is good that the layer is formed at either of the inside or the outside of the case 10. Therefore, even when the case 10 is left under the illumination by the direct sunshine for a long term as it is, the photographic sensitive material is not exposed. Besides, since the case 10 is provided with the light transmissivity under the illumination by a fluorescent lamp or a white electric bulb, the content thereof can be directly viewed.
