PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for arranging axle load meters for effectively and precisely measuring axle load. SOLUTION: The number of arrangement of axle load meters for reproducing waveform approximating to original vibrating waveform from the partial waveform of vibration measured by the axle load meters is decided by computer simulation, and 5 axle load meters 21-25 are arranged with successively widened non-uniform intervals along the traveling direction of a vehicle based on this. Thus, waveform approximating to original vibrating waveform can be reproduced from the partial waveform of the vibration of the vehicle measured by each axle load meter 21-25, and the central value of the reproduced waveform can be obtained as axle load.
