PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing color filters imparting pixels having the excellent adhesion property to a substrate and light shielding layers without giving rise to residues and staining on the substrate and light shielding layers of exposed parts at the time of development with high sensitivity and a transfer film for forming color filter. SOLUTION: The color filters are produced by transferring a film forming material layer 21 formed on a supporting film on the substrate 11, forming a resist film on the film forming material layer transferred onto the substrate, subjecting the resist film to exposure processing to form latent images of the resist patterns, subjecting the resist film to development to develop the resist patterns 35, subjecting the film forming material layer to etching to form the patterns 25 of the film forming material layer corresponding to the resist patterns and thermally curing the patterns. |
